Eleanor Moxon

At University I obtained a Higher National Diploma in Hotel, Catering and Institutional Management and worked for several years in the licensed trade. Then I worked for several years in Drivers Legal Protection. Wanting a change of lifestyle I decided to move to France and became a qualified CELTA teacher. What I discovered was more than a job; teaching has become a passion. I have now been living in France for four years and during this time I have provided English courses for individuals, businesses and schools.  I specialise in teaching English for nursing and am employed by two colleges to provide a medical English course. The course has to follow guidelines set out by the French Government.

I pride myself on providing professional and friendly service. As I live abroad, I understand the difficulties encountered when learning a new language. I believe that language learning should be fun and building a student’s confidence is the key to their success. I am an understanding and easy-going teacher who takes great pride in my student’s achievements.

For me giving a student the skills to order a Big Mac in Toronto is just as important giving them to skills to get their next promotion or pass an all important exam.
